Most recently, Kathy was honored by the Anti Defamation League, the YWCA, and the Dream Foundation, and she is a significant contributor to the Alliance for Christian Education, 911 for Kids/AEFK, the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It all started with socks. After working with some of the world's most famous designers, Kathy was inspired to create her own collection of designer socks. She soon thereafter extended her clothing line to swimwear, maternity clothes, home furnishings, and accessories. The brand was acknowledged by Women's Wear Daily as one of “America's Most Popular” for women between 18 and 49 years of age.
